Instead of replacing an entire vehicle because its original fuel cylinders have reached the end of their certified life, A-1 can evaluate the existing fuel system and provide a replacement solution designed around the vehicle.
When Do CNG Cylinders Need to Be Replaced?
CNG cylinders have a defined service life established by the cylinder manufacturer and applicable certification standard. Depending on the cylinder and its original certification, the service life may commonly be 15, 20, or 25 years.

Once a cylinder reaches its marked expiration date, it must be removed from service. CNG cylinders are not simply recertified to extend their original service life beyond the manufacturer's expiration date.
The expiration date and other important cylinder information are identified on the manufacturer's cylinder label.
